Proper Dress for Class
1. Students must wear P.E. uniform.
- PE and Aerobics: red and white color (purchase on Line Avenue at Shreveport Gymnastic store) including tennis shoes (any color).
- Beg. and Adv. Dance: black color leotard, lagans, and skirt (no see through) or T-short and pence including dance shoes (any color).
3. Classes may be held indoors or outdoors. Be prepared daily with sweatshirt and sweat pants. Sweat pants should be worn over the gym shorts.
- PE and Aerobics: plane (no words, straps, labels) and red, white, or black color only.
- Beg. and Adv. Dance: plane(no words, straps, labels) and black color only
5. No bulky jewelry should be worn during class. The hair should be put up.
Class Expectations
1. Student will be given 5 minutes after the tardy bell rings to be dressed, in their roll call spot, and working on the bell activity.
2. The student will receive 5 points daily for participation and5 points daily for comprehension of material.
3. The information about final test and quizzes will be posted later.
4. No food or gum chewing is allowed in the class.
5. All students will remain in the class until the bell rings.
6. No one may leave class, gym, or locker areas without permission. Once everyone is dressed, no one may reenter to the locker rooms without permission.
7. Abuse, destruction, or misuse of P.E. equipment will not be tolerated. Obscene gestures, languages, harassment, or disrespect will not be tolerated.
Lockers and Locker Room
1. C-wing lockers are available - $ 1 for entire year. All personal belongings should be locked up at all times.
2. Small lockers are available in the P.E. Locker rooms. Students must purchase their own combination lock and give the combination to their P.E. teacher. (Do not leave in this locker your valuable belongings, and do not leave anything there after class or school).
3. Once class begins, no student will be allowed back into the locker room without permission from the teacher.
4. Valuable belongings (jewelry, purses, wallets) must be locked in a locker during class. Don’t leave valuables lying around.
5. A teacher will let you keep ONLY your back pack in room; the rest is your responsibility to keep safe.
